Rosh Zeeba
arbeiten in den Bereichen Performance, Video, Film, erweiterten Medien und künstlerischer Forschung. Sie wurden in Teheran geboren und studierten angewandte Theaterwissenschaft in Gießen sowie zeitbasierte Medien und Film an der Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg.
Die Verwendung erweiterter Medien durch einen performativen Ansatz ermöglicht es Zeeba, Storytelling neu zu überdenken und den Bereich des queeren, ornamentalen Futurismus zu eröffnen. Die Geschichte erzählt sich selbst und wird durch Raum, Bild und Betrachter:in miteinander verwoben. Zeeba beschäftigt sich mit postdramatischem Kino, Post-Cyberfeminismus, Queer-Theorie und radikaler Bildproduktion.
Themen: Intersektionaler Feminismus, Überquerungen, Glitching, Irritation, Verflechtung, gerissener Faden, Erinnerung und Träume, Geister und intergenerationales Trauma,
persische Mythologie und soft world-building.

Rosh Zeeba work in performance, video, film, expanded media and artistic research.
They were born in Tehran and studied applied theater studies in Giessen, Germany and time-based media and film at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany.
Using expanded media through a performative approach allows them to rethink storytelling and opens up the realm of queer, ornamental futurism. The story tells itself and is interwoven through space, image and spectator. Zeeba engages with postdramatic cinema, post-cyberfeminism,
queer theory and radical image-production.
